17th April 1941. Hitlers 52nd Birthday Stamp
The anniversary of the Führers birthday was marked by the following stamp
16th May 1941. Postal Employees Fund Issue 1941.
This is a re-issue of the same set from 1939, with differences to the Culture Fund surcharges. This time the set only contained 6 stamps, in 1939 the set contained 12 stamps. Also in 1939 there was no postal Stationary Card available, the card is from 1941.
For those who may have mixed up the 1939 and 1941 issues, the surcharges for the culture fund are the following:
1939: 6Rpf+4Rpf, 8Rpf+4Rpf, 12Rpf+6Rpf, 16Rpf+10Rpf, 20Rpf+10Rpf and 24Rpf+10Rpf. 1941: 6Rpf+9Rpf, 8Rpf+12Rpf, 12Rpf+18Rpf, 16Rpf+24Rpf, 20Rpf+30Rpf and 24Rpf+36Rpf.
Note: The other six stamps from the 1939 issue play no role here because the were not repeated in the 1941 re-issue. The 1944 re-issue are easy to recognise because the stamps are much smaller and will be covered later.

1st August 1941. Hitler Definitive Issue
The following images contain the colour changes to the 1 Rpf, 5 Rpf and 6 Rpf stamps.
I have read many years ago in an old publication, the publication may have been from wartime or just after in the early 1950s? It took several years for the Post Minister to get Hitler to agree to having his image on a definitive issue. I seem to remember that he was given 1 Rpf for each stamp printed, making him a very wealthy man.
